Inertia is a powerful thing. You think you’re just taking a little break from writing and then 7 years go by. But, I’m giving it another whirl. In general, I’ll be writing about entrepreneurship and the ideas or tips that I’ve found useful along the way. And, while I’m no longer an active entrepreneur, my companies sometimes refer to me as the “reluctant VC” because I still think of myself as founder first and foremost.
As I was moving over my old posts from “Bnoopy” to this new blog, I realized just how dated some of my old posts felt (yes, they are 7 years old at this point). They are definitely from a certain time and a different startup environment. And while I thought about not including them, I couldn’t bring myself to eliminate stories like meeting Bill Gates at a urinal or how I learned firsthand that persistence is the #1 skill in entrepreneurship.
So, here goes. Bear with me as the rust comes off.

Я спешу Вам рассказать о том, что мы с товарищем собираемся в небольшое путешествие. Данное путешествие будет проходить по России, а еще точнее, по республике Башкортостан. Мы полтора года собирались и вот, наконец решились проплыть на байдарке по реке Белая (Агидель) от города Белорецк до города Уфа за две недели. Маршрут по реке составляет чуть больше 800 километров и на это все у нас отведено 2 недели.
Зная, что Google запустил проект Панорама в программе GoogleEarth, хотим Вам предложить сделать панораму всего нашего маршрута. Нам будет приятно сотрудничать с google, а google будет приятно, когда в их проекте будут появляться новые неизведанные места;-)

while a friend of mine was reading ‘the snowball’ (biography of warren buffet) he realised that warren himself didn’t read any book. moral: when you are doing something more important, something you love, you forget priority 2 stuff. so am sure that past 7 years you were doing something better than writing than blogs
